CENOTE KA’A SUTBIL CH’EN (Two norias)

The word ferris wheel in Mayan: Sutbil ch’en.

It is located in the back of the house belonging to the Hacienda San Juan Bautista Opichén. In the area that corresponds to the old orchards that existed there whose evidence is notable through the remains of large irrigation canals built of masonry.
They were built taking advantage of a natural elevation conditioned as part of the backyard of the house rising approximately 3 meters by the natural level of the ground
The interior is composed of a vault which is modified perhaps for the unification of both norias below.
